First of all, there was ridiculous amount of jump scares that weren't even scary, they tried so hard that it lost its taste at some point, story got boring in the first half of the movie it took too much time to combine the stories of the children, everything was CGI and not realistic enough, nothing unexpected happened maybe trailer gave away too much. Actually trailer is better than the movie.

Bill Skalsgard killed the role, acting of the kids' was successful but the great potential of this movie was wasted.

It didn't float.
Even though it's dated and the ending is cheesy, I like the 1990 miniseries much better. This adaptation is okay, but that's about it. The acting is fine and so is the cinematography. I thought it rel
