Vengeance on the Stagecoach: Desert Justice

*Bonanza (1960) | Justice in Chains*
When a young Ponderosa ranch hand is arrested for murder, Adam and Hoss Cartwright find themselves on a tense stagecoach journey to Los Angeles. They must protect the prisoner from a brutal U.S. Marshal who seems more interested in vengeance than a fair trial. As the desert heat rises, the Cartwrights struggle to uphold the law while preventing a grieving lawman from taking it into his own hands.

The primary conflict stems from the deep-seated resentment between Marshal Emmet Dow and his prisoner, Dave Walker, whose shared past has turned a routine transport into a life-or-death struggle.
