Groups brought together children from across the city to combat violence in Baltimore. A recent uptick in violence that included triple and mass shootings, as well as a rise in crimes committed by juveniles, led to a focus on bringing youth together from across Baltimore City for an event called A Day of Peace and Unity. We Our Us joined forces with other organizations to create a positive and constructive event held Saturday afternoon at the Bocek Recreation Center on East Madison Street in East Baltimore.
