What Really Happened To 8-Ball? Why The Only Loyal Man In Liberty City Vanished [GTA 3 Lore]

He was the first face you ever saw in the 3D era of GTA. He got Claude out of a prison van, walked him to Luigi's door and started the whole story of GTA III. Then, a few missions later, 8-Ball walked off screen and never came back.

In this video we open the case file on Liberty City's favorite bomb maker and follow him across three games and three years: Liberty City Stories in 1998, GTA Advance in 2000 and GTA III in 2001. Who is 8-Ball really? A cold professional who sells to whoever pays, a loyal friend in a city full of traitors, a survivor who always walks away, or a pawn that everybody plays? We go through his origins, his business, his deals with Donald Love, his time with Mike in GTA Advance, the real story behind his bandaged hands, his last job with Claude and the question fans have been arguing about for over twenty years.

Along the way we look at cut content, old Liberty Tree newspaper articles from Rockstar's promo website, fan theories, real mob history and a few things most players never noticed. Every chapter adds new evidence, and by the end we put together the most complete picture of 8-Ball you can get from the games.
