Windows 11 October 2026 Update (KB5127936): What's New?

The October 2026 feature drop is on its way to Windows 11 versions 26H2 and 25H2 (KB5127936 - OS build 26300.9810 and 26200.9810, Release Preview has 26300.9807 and 26200.9807), the first since 26H2 released. As you'd expect around this time of year, we have a lot to check out. The November Patch Tuesday (KB5132061 - OS build 26300.9950 and 26200.9950) will expand the rollout to more devices.

Context menus have been revamped to be simpler by default and fully customizable, with options like Send to, Print and Refresh now available on the modern menu. There's a new cloud rebuild recovery feature, improvements to dark mode, Phone Link, taskbar thumbnail previews, XBOX Mode, accessibility and much more.
