THE X-FILES (1993) Cast Then and Now | 33 Years Later

The X-Files cast then and now in 2026 — revisit David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi, William B. Davis, Robert Patrick, Annabeth Gish and the agents, informants and monsters of the series, 33 years after it began.

Mulder’s “I Want to Believe” poster. Scully’s skepticism. The Cigarette Smoking Man in the shadows and the Lone Gunmen chasing the next conspiracy. The truth was out there — and every week we wanted to find it.

This cast retrospective brings together the faces of Chris Carter’s landmark series, from Skinner, Krycek, Deep Throat and X to unforgettable guest stars who became famous later, including Bryan Cranston, Jack Black, Lucy Liu, Giovanni Ribisi and Luke Wilson. We also remember Peter Boyle, John Neville and Peter Donat.
