A stray mother cat was living on our street with her two tiny kittens, only about one month old. She stayed close to them and was very protective whenever someone approached. Her behavior wasn’t without a reason… she was simply watching over her little family.
The two young kittens depended completely on their mother for food, warmth, and safety. With the busy world around them, mama remained alert and kept her babies close while trying to find a safe place for them.
We approached the little family with patience and kindness, giving the mother cat the space she needed to feel comfortable. Slowly, she began to understand that we were there to help, not to separate her from her kittens.
Behind every protective mother cat is a simple story… she just wants her babies to be safe.
