Polaris (Feat. Chris Harms)
Underneath winter skies
When you opened your eyes
At the place where I buried my soul
Twixt the lies and the screams
Of my shattered mortal dreams
Lies the heart of the heart of it all
For you, for you
My pain
My star
You’re tucked away deep in my heart
My wound
My light
You’ve no idea how I fight
Your laughter sings
Throughout my dreams
I’m bleeding out to hold you close
Our hearts, the same
For you I’ll set myself aflame
In this war’s starless night
I’ve held on to you tight
Silently I refuse to relent
And when truth finds her voice
Cutting through the endless noise
Every song in my heart will make sense
For you, for you
My pain
My star
You’re tucked away deep in my heart
My wound
My light
You’ve no idea how I fight
Your laughter sings
Throughout my dreams
I’m bleeding out to hold you close
Our hearts, the same
For you I’ll set myself aflame
I don’t regret a single tear
Cuz you’re all I’m holding dear
And someday we’ll escape all this
My relentless, perfect Polaris
For you, for you
My pain
My star
You’re tucked away deep in my heart
My wound
My light
You’ve no idea how I fight
Your laughter sings
Throughout my dreams
I’m bleeding out to hold you close
Our hearts, the same
For you I’ll set myself aflame
Set myself aflame
For you
My star
My northern star
You’re everything
I’d ever need
I’ll never let you out of sight
The heart of hearts
It’s always been you from the start
