The streets of Maryland's capital city will be overtaken by all things Pride this week as the city gears up for its sixth annual Annapolis Pride. The parade and festival used to take place during Pride Month in June but are now hosted during the first weekend of October to commemorate LGBTQ History Month. The parade takes place downtown at 11 a.m. Saturday with Ryan Cassata as the grand marshal. The festival takes place from noon to 6 p.m. with two entertainment stages at the Bates Athletic Complex.
