Oil prices have climbed above $100 a barrel, but an energy analyst says the recent increase in gas and diesel prices is being driven largely by a refining capacity problem.
The analyst points to attacks on refineries in Russia and the Middle East, while U.S. refineries are already operating at high capacity.
Current reporting has also identified refinery disruptions and limited refining capacity as major factors behind the pressure on fuel prices.
