What if GTA 4 was released in 2004 instead of 2008?

In this video, we're imagining what Grand Theft Auto IV could have looked like if Rockstar released it four years earlier. With the limitations of 2004-era hardware, GTA IV would have had to look and play very differently.

We'll take a look at how GTA IV could work with GTA San Andreas-style graphics, vehicles, environments, gameplay, physics and other features. Basically, what would happen if GTA IV and GTA San Andreas existed in the same era?

This is a fictional what-if / alternate history concept made for entertainment.
