Aurora f/ Naimee Coleman - Ordinary World [Extended Mix] (2000)

During the '90s, dance covers off well known songs were very common. Most of them ranged from pathetic, to listenable, but a few of them were very well done and earned frequent play on my radio show.

This is one of those that got a of air time - a faithful remake of the Duran Duran classic with lush instrumentation, that iconic guitar line, and a gorgeous vocal. Coming along in 2000, it was right at the tail end of the trend, and may have even been the last one that I really enjoyed.
