After saving Eric from the shipwreck, Ariel takes him back to shore next to his kingdom and soon starts to develop feelings for the prince. But realizing she and Eric can never be together as a human and mermaid, she goes off back to the ocean to hide as he watches him resting, hoping to wake up and be alright. But as she's waiting, she gets tired and lays down to rest. But a familiar Serpent sees her sleeping and decides to take advantage of the poor girl.
