Worker dies after equipment strike at Dundalk Marine Terminal

A Port of Baltimore worker died Monday during a cargo-handling operation at the Dundalk Marine Terminal, state officials said. Maryland Transportation Authority police said officers were called shortly after 9 a.m. to the Dundalk Marine Terminal for a report of an injured person. MDTA police said officers found a man who was struck by a piece of equipment. Police said officers tried to administer life-saving measures and the man was taken to a hospital, where he died.
