Unusually hot, dry weather has helped bring a prehistoric creature to light. The remains of a woolly mammoth are being recovered from the banks of the Danube River in Bulgaria, as low water levels reveal things long-buried in the river mud. So far, paleontologists have recovered the lower jaw, tusks, a shoulder blade, and ribs from the mammoth. They hope to find the rest of its skeleton still underground.
