One Southeast Baltimore business had to once again replace their front door after an overnight break-in Wednesday. "I think it's just sad considering it's a small business, it's in the community," said Nydia, who frequents the Taqueria El Sabor Del Parque Mexican Restaurant. "You shouldn't want to break into an area that's feeding your community so it's just sad." Baltimore Police confirm officers responded to a commercial burglary at 3 a.m. on Wednesday at the Mexican eatery on Eastern Avenue. Surveillance video shows three suspects shattering the glass door and entering the restaurant. Police said they took the register before running from the location. "According to the owner, it was basically a smash, grab and run type of situation where they ran in and grabbed the cash box and then ran out," said Arch McKown, who is on the Baltimore Police Southeastern District Community Relations Council. "But the cash box is empty because they don't ever keep money overnight." McKown expressed frustration knowing this isn't the first time the business has had to replace a more than $500 door due to people breaking-in.
