Easy Cream Horns
1 roll puff pastry (thawed and dusted with flour)cut in 1 inch strips
1 block of cream cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar plus dusting
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 tub of creamy cool whip
1 egg +1 tablespoon of water for egg wash
Sugar
Spray oil
DIY horn molds (see video)
Preheat oven to 400°. Cream the cream cheese until it’s fluffy add powdered sugar and vanilla then fold in Cool Whip and place in fridge until ready for use. Cut 1-inch strips of pastry puff, stretching it out then spray or molds and carefully wrap, the pastry puff around the mold carefully overlapping, then sealing it with water at the end. Brush with egg wash sprinkle with sugar and bake 15 minutes at 400°. Allow to cool completely then fill each cream horn with the creamy filling, dusted with powdered sugar(optional) and enjoy!
