During a national address Thursday night, President Donald Trump is expected to highlight his administration's findings suggesting there was foreign interference in the 2020 election. This stance is proving to be a bit of a wedge between the president and former Maryland state Delegate Dan Cox, the Republican gubernatorial nominee who's challenging Democratic incumbent Gov. Wes Moore this November. Cox was initially a vocal skeptic of the 2020 election results, having called for a forensic audit on both the national and state levels. During a campaign fundraiser in 2021, Cox said Trump was "the only president that I recognize right now," and that President Joe Biden was "installed." Cox clarified his stance Thursday morning while speaking on WBAL NewsRadio 1090 AM and 101.5 FM.
