A 19-year-old man is dead in a double shooting Tuesday afternoon in West Baltimore. City police said officers were called around 3:20 p.m. to the 2800 block of West Lanvale Street near Poplar Grove Street for a shooting call. Police said officers found two men, ages 18 and 19, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both men were taken to hospitals, where the 19-year-old died and the 18-year-old remains in critical condition. SKY 11 captured video of the scene and followed a police pursuit believed to be connected to the shooting. The person who police were following bailed from a vehicle and stole a motorcycle, leading officers on a chase. The motorcycle was later involved in a crash and the man tried to run away before he was taken into custody, SKY 11 video showed.
