Baltimore County police continue to investigate the fatal shooting of two siblings, ages nine and 15, who were found dead in their Gwynn Oak home Tuesday night. Officers were called to the house on Talles Road just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday after the children’s parents came home and discovered their bodies. Two bullet holes were visible in the front side of the home. Councilmember Izzy Patoka said police are dedicating significant resources to this high-priority investigation. Police confirmed they are working to identify and locate a suspect. The Gwynn Oak community is mourning the loss of the siblings, identified Friday as Giovanna, 15, and Steve, nine. "One was nine. One was 15. They didn't even live life yet," said Ham, a community member. Neighbors expressed their shock and sadness. "We never had any kind of problem in our neighborhood," said Alice Green. "It just hurt a little bit, and I can imagine how a mother would feel losing a child."
