Donald Trump has reacted after a road near the U.S. Consulate in Hyderabad was officially named “Donald Trump Avenue.” The road was inaugurated by Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka along with U.S. envoy Sergio Gor as part of celebrations marking America’s 250th birthday. In a post, Trump thanked the people of Telangana, calling it a historic honour and saying he is the first U.S. president to receive such recognition. The US Consulate General Hyderabad described the move as a symbol of strengthening U.S.-India ties.
