The dust has just about settled and we know who's moving on to the General Election in November. A change in leadership was one of the big takeaways from Primary Election Day. Three Maryland jurisdictions will have new county executives: Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Howard counties. While Harford County will decide whether to re-elect its incumbent or the challenger. The stage is nearly set for the November election in those races. Ian Anson, associate professor of political science at University of Maryland, Baltimore County, analyzes the election results.
