October 8, 1994. Hollywood Blvd at night. No smartphones. No selfies. No social media. Just people going out, getting dressed up, and living in the moment.

This footage captures a real night outside a Hollywood nightclub in the mid 1990s. The fashion, the energy, the crowds, the conversations, people actually looking at each other. Leather jackets, denim, mini skirts, platform shoes, and attitude. Bouncers at the door, lines around the block, limousines, and expensive sports cars. The Los Angeles club scene before everything changed.

This was the Los Angeles of grunge and alternative rock, of MTV and late night radio. Flannel and combat boots on the sidewalk, velvet ropes and guest lists at every door. Hollywood Blvd was alive every night of the week, the clubs, the bars, the after hours spots, the diners at 3am.
