IMPROVED CHOREOGRAPHY IS A HARD REQUIREMENT FOR THIS MOD. It's highly recommended to install it in your Custom folder, as there is a chance the animations won't work otherwise!

"WE'VE GOT HOSTILES" - New and Improved
The first in what will hopefully be a series of mods to improve the Black Mesa campaign, as a collaborative effort between myself and LIL-PIF, with some creative direction from Colonel Orange.

Building off of the framework set up by the folks behind BMS Classic, Black Mesa Revamped aims to improve upon the visual aspect of the game's maps and bring them up to the standard set by Black Mesa: Blue Shift by implementing its assets, as well as its VFX and architectural design philosophy, into the base game. From props and parallax-mapped decals to higher-fidelity textures highlighted by a larger prevalence of dynamic lights and specialized particle emitters, you'll find this chapter has received a significant facelift in the graphics department.

There's also a few small gameplay-related changes, implemented as necessary to improve interactivity in certain niche situations and keep the combat experience fresh, as well as some unique scripted storytelling moments involving the HECU (which I've decided to merge with Improved Choreo to prevent the hassle of conflicting animation files).
