Installing Counter-Strike 1.0 From the Original CD on my Retro PC Setup

Today I’m installing Counter-Strike 1.0 from the original physical CD and playing it on my retro PC setup.

Before Steam, before matchmaking, before skins, this is how a lot of us got into Counter-Strike.

In this video I go through the install, launch the game, and play through several different OG CS maps.

PC Specs:
- Pentium 4 CPU
- Nvidia GeForce 8400gs GPU
- 1TB HDD
- 3GB DRR2 Ram
- Cooler Master Centurion case
- Running Windows XP SP3

There’s just something different about playing these games on old hardware.
