Video Recorded on July 7 and 9, 2024: To make it a very special Christmas Eve, here I present to you a ride on A HEAVENLY LOAD of old historic wooden escalators installed by Otis!!!! Oh my gosh, I was BOMBARDED into joy when I saw these! As you may remember, I did ride one serving only a couple floors when I came here last year, but these escalators serve almost the entire height of this flagship department store. These are by far the most iconic working pieces of old machineries I have EVER seen in my whole entire life! On top of that, these are also the only oldest working escalators probably in the whole entire planet as far as I know of. Sadly as I speak, these escalators are in the process of replacement by Schindler as I showed the tag down below the handrail in the corner end of the right side of the entrance. But thankfully enough, I think they are keeping at least a few pieces as a museum. Hope you all have a wonderful and a VERY Merry Christmas! Installed in between 1920 to 1930:
