Former Botswana President Festus Mogae laid to rest

Botswana has laid to rest its former President Festus Gontebanye Mogae in Gaborone.

The former statesman, who led Botswana from 1998 to 2008, has been remembered as a respected economist, unifier and one of Africa's most influential leaders, with tributes pouring in from across the continent and the international community.
