A Maryland-based company is trying make dining experiences and special occasions more inclusive for people living with celiac disease while educating people along the way. Celiac disease is an autoimmune condition in which the body cannot absorb gluten, and those living with the disease can often feel excluded. Jules Shepard was diagnosed with celiac disease in 1999. She told WBAL-TV 11 News there weren't many baking supply options available to her at the time.
