Sleeping Beauty: When Magic Turns Dark
Long ago, a kind king and queen welcomed a beautiful baby girl named Princess Aurora. To celebrate her birth, they invited three good fairies to bless the child.
But an evil fairy, Maleficent, became angry because she was not invited. She cursed the princess, saying that on her 16th birthday she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die.
The youngest fairy, Merryweather, softened the curse. Instead of dying, Aurora would fall into a deep magical sleep until awakened by true love’s kiss.
To protect Aurora, the three fairies secretly raised her in a small cottage in the forest, where she lived as a simple girl named Rose.
One day, Rose met a handsome prince named Phillip in the forest. They quickly became friends and promised to meet again.
But before her 16th birthday ended, Maleficent tricked Aurora into touching a spinning wheel in a dark tower, and the curse was fulfilled. Aurora fell into a deep sleep.
The good fairies placed her in the castle and cast a spell so that the entire kingdom slept until she awoke.
Prince Phillip set out to save her, but Maleficent captured him. With the help of the three fairies, he escaped and fought Maleficent, who turned into a terrifying dragon.
With bravery and the Sword of Truth, Phillip defeated the dragon and reached Aurora. He kissed her gently, breaking the spell.
Aurora awoke, the kingdom came back to life, and everyone celebrated. Soon, Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip were married, and they lived happily ever after. ✨👑
