Anne Arundel County schools testing AI weapons detection system

Some Anne Arundel County schools will start using AI weapons detectors this week, part of a pilot program that will run through the summer. The school system is using the OPENGATE weapon detection system — the same one used in Harford County schools. The county will be testing the system out over the next several months.
