As early as last spring, ahead of Expo 2025 Osaka, Azis Abakirov - Director of the High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic and Deputy Commissioner General of the national pavilion - gave an interview to Kansai Television.
The interview resonated strongly with the Japanese audience.
The warm tone of the conversation, a taste of Kyrgyz honey, and even the use of the rare word “maiyu” (“very delicious”) made the segment truly memorable.
A year later, Azis-san is back on Kansai Television - this time in a live broadcast from Tokyo IT Week 2026.
