Although this early Mirror’s Edge PS3 prototype was originally shared back in 2019, major technical issues prevented it from being launched - until now...
After extensive reverse engineering and hundreds of fixes, including repairing the broken EBOOT fSELF format, stubbing 306 corrupted functions, and resolving Unreal Engine package bugs, the build is finally playable!
This restored prototype provides a rare glimpse into Mirror’s Edge development roughly 9 months before release, showcasing early level design and gameplay mechanics, unused content, and other behind the scenes differences from the final retail version. While this video covers a tonne of ground, it isn't completely exhaustive.
Big thanks to @Hekigan for taking some of the workload off of my hands and helping record the retail comparison shots.

Note: At this stage, the prototype can only be played on a custom RPCS3 build that makes unknown SPU STOP codes non-fatal and features increased memory limits.
