President Oaks Just Announced a Worldwide Fast to Protect Freedom! (Is America in Trouble?)

🚨 WHY DID THE LDS FIRST PRESIDENCY JUST CALL A NATIONAL FAST FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM? WHAT DO THEY SEE COMING? 🇺🇸🙏

Something unusual just happened.

And it may signal something far bigger than most people realize. 👀

Today the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints issued a letter inviting members across the United States—and around the world—to participate in a special fast on July 5, 2026. 📜

The purpose?

To express gratitude for religious liberty and to pray that those freedoms will continue and expand throughout the world. 🌎🙏

At first glance, that might sound simple.

But when you step back and really think about it… it raises a very serious question. 🤔

Historically speaking, prophetic calls for unified fasting rarely happen during ordinary times. ⏳

The last worldwide fast was called by President Russell M. Nelson during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when the world faced an unprecedented global crisis. 🌍😷

Before that, similar invitations were extended during major humanitarian disasters and historic turning points.

Which raises the obvious question:

Why now? ⚠️

Why would prophets call millions of people to fast specifically about religious freedom and constitutional liberty? 📜🕊️

Is something happening behind the scenes that most people haven’t fully recognized yet? 👁️

Latter-day Saints have long remembered a powerful prophecy attributed to Joseph Smith and repeated by Brigham Young during a Fourth of July celebration in 1854:

“The time will come when the destiny of the nation will hang upon a single thread… At that critical juncture, this people will step forth and save it from the threatened destruction.”

Could that moment be approaching? 🇺🇸

The timing of this invitation is fascinating.

In 2026 the United States will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence 🦅🇺🇸—the document that helped create a nation founded on the revolutionary idea that human rights come from God, not governments.

For Latter-day Saints, the Constitution is not just a political document.

It is a doctrinal principle. ✨

Doctrine and Covenants teaches that God established the Constitution by the hands of wise men to protect the rights and agency of all people. 📖

Without those freedoms there could have been:

• No First Vision 🌳✨
• No Book of Mormon 📘
• No Restoration ⛪
• No worldwide missionary work 🌎
• No temples across the earth 🏛️

Joseph Smith lived in one of the only places on earth where someone could claim to see God and not immediately be imprisoned or executed by the state.

The Constitution created the environment that allowed the Restoration to begin.

But here’s the sobering reality.

Documents cannot defend themselves. ⚖️

Freedom survives only when people believe strongly enough in moral truth to defend it. 💪

And right now, around the world, religious liberty is increasingly being challenged. 🚨

Recent legislation in places like Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia has sparked intense debates about whether sincere religious beliefs could eventually be treated as harmful speech. 🗣️⚖️

At the same time, the world is witnessing growing geopolitical instability. 🌍🔥

Conflicts in the Middle East, tensions between global powers, and ideological shifts across Western democracies are reshaping the future.

And historically speaking, major world events often open new doors for the spread of the gospel. ✝️🌎

What if this fast is not only about protecting freedom where it already exists…

But about preparing the way for religious liberty to expand into places where it has never existed before? 🌏✨

What if the Lord is preparing the world for the next phase of the gathering of Israel? 🔔📜

And what if millions of prayers offered in faith could help shape that future? 🙏

These are the questions we explore in today’s episode.

This announcement could spark serious conversations about faith, freedom, prophecy, and the future of the world. ⚡

And I want to hear your thoughts.

Do you believe this fast is mainly about protecting religious freedom in the United States?

Or could Church leaders be seeing a much bigger global picture? 🌎👀
