Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has strongly responded to U.S. President Donald Trump’s criticism and trade threats over Spain’s stance on the ongoing Iran conflict. Sánchez reaffirmed that Spain will not support further military escalation and stressed that the Spanish government’s position can be summed up in three words: “No to war”. He condemned the joint U.S.-Israeli military actions in Iran as reckless and illegal, warning they risk severe global consequences and likening them to “playing Russian roulette with millions of lives.”
