Lenovo M910x: i7-7700T + Yeston RTX 3050: Can it game?

In this video, I upgraded a Lenovo ThinkCentre M910x, a 1-liter tiny PC from 2017, by pairing it with a low-profile, single-slot Yeston RTX 3050 6GB. I also replaced the CPU with a 35W i7-7700T and added dual-channel RAM and an NVMe SSD. Will it run into CPU throttling, and how does it handle gaming? Let's find out!

To ensure maximum stability, I designed a custom 3D-printed ASA ventilation top cover that allows the hardware to breathe, resulting in incredible thermal performance under 80°C without the need for any software like ThrottleStop. The final result is a powerful, whisper-quiet gaming machine that delivers impressive 1080p frame rates in modern AAA titles, proving that with the right modifications and airflow design, these affordable office units offer incredible value as compact gaming powerhouses in 2026.
