Today I ate a bento that my mom made for me🍱
Bento is a Japanese lunch box with rice and side dishes. People take it to school or work♪
I started missing the bento my mom used to make when I was a student, so I asked her to make one again♪
This time I didn’t request any specific dishes and decided to enjoy the surprise when opening it✨
When I opened the lid, it was colorful and looked so delicious, which made me really happy☺️
Inside were snap peas, komatsuna namul, chikuzenni (simmered vegetables), yawatamaki (beef rolled with burdock root), cherry tomatoes, Japanese omelet with dashi flavor, cucumber stuffed chikuwa, lettuce, pickles, and rice🍚
There was also mayonnaise💛
My favorite was the yawatamaki♡
The meat in a bento really gives me energy when I eat it💪✨
I want to eat my mom’s bento again🍙
My drink is sakura green tea🌸🍵
