Former President Bill Clinton testified for more than 5 hours under oath about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and what he knew about what Epstein was up to. This was the first time in history that a president has come in to testify because of a congressional subpoena. While there are conflicting depictions of what the former president actually said, what lawmakers can agree on is a precedent was probably set and that they need to interview many more powerful people.
