•1st Install VIETCONG (make sure you are going to install it into "C:\Program Files\Vietcong" folder.

•2nd Install the necessary game patches v1.01, v1.30, v1.41, v1.60 (make sure you are going to install it into the same folder as the game is: C:\Program Files\Vietcong).
!!Install the patches from the lowest version to the highest and don't miss a single one !!

•3rd Install the datadisc VIETCONG Fist Alpha (as always, to the same folder as the game is C:\Program Files\Vietcong).

•4th Add maps into the VIETCONG game folder manually.

•5th Open VC Starter 1.65.1 and paste the files from the zip into the VIETCONG game folder (change the old files by the new ones from the zip).

•6th Open VCStarterConfig in the game folder and check if there is everything marked in the app, along with the 120 FPS LIMIT and except "Fix Menu Flickering", "Multisample Anti-Aliasing" and "Disable Players LODs". - If your game menu flickers then turn the "Fix Menu Flickering" ON.

•7th Repeat this process with VC Starter 1.7 and change all the old files from VC Starter 1.65.1 by the new ones from VC Starter 1.7 - in reason of proper work of the VC Starter.

•8th Open Vietcong game and in the opening window change the resolution by your preference (there is default set up on 800x600). Then close the window.

•9th Go to: Your Computer - C Disc - Windows - System 32 - Drivers - etc - hosts

•10th Copy the file "hosts" on desktop and open it in WordPad app

•11th At the absolute bottom of the text write this sentence:
46.28.109.117 master.gamespy.com

•12th Save it and replace the old file with the new one created on desktop. Now the multiplayer is repaired, but just in case refresh the serverlist in the game.
