The original Celebrity titles to The Barn Dance (1929), scanned from a 16mm Eastman print. Disney has made two recreations of the titles to this short in recent years, on Mickey Mouse in Black and White Volume 2, and on Disney+. The opening titles on Disney+ are visually very close to the original seen here, but I have no idea why they chose to replace the opening music with a theme from a much later Mickey short. Also, the original ending card seen here has the words “sound cartoon” under the Mickey Mouse logo on the ending card.
