Rooftops Spec-Ops mod is a spin-off mod of Rooftops Campaign, Rooftops 2, The Deal.

It takes a less story focused approach than its predecessors and focuses more on gameplay and action packed levels and sequences. Greatly inspired by the original MW2 and MW3 spec-ops missions, it features multiple small levels with arcade-y gameplay. The environments and context around these missions is directly related to the relevant mods mentioned above.

CLASSIC AND REMASTERED:

Rooftops Spec-Ops Classic was released in 2018 with a total of 12 short levels all being around spin-off events of Rooftops Campaign.

Rooftops Spec-Ops Remastered released in 2026 remasters the original 12 levels to the Rooftops Remastered standards, and adds almost twice the content on top of that. With 8 new spec-ops levels and 3 secret bonus levels with more DLC levels planned ahead. There's proper scoring and level progression, stars given per difficulty like the official MW2 and MW3 spec-ops, achievements, total UI, and asset upgrades as well as tons of secrets and bonuses to discover.

A big selling point of the Rooftops Spec-Ops Remaster, are the Arctic Ops levels which are extremely ambitious levels that push the game into its limits. They invite player to explore new refreshing open environments and experience COD4 in a way that it feels like an entirely new game altogether, more than any other Rooftops mod did.

The bonus levels offer a few unique levels that speak for themselves.
