Meet Dulal and Mainak, two broke, hungover screenwriters hustling their script Sulemani Keeda (Hindi slang for "pain in the ass") through the chaos of Mumbai's film industry. They're hungry, horny, and perpetually rejected, lurking in bookshops, crashing poetry readings, and dreaming of becoming the next Salim-Javed.
When the eccentric, drug-addled Gonzo Kapoor (son of a B-movie producer) hires them to write his directorial debut, our heroes finally get their shot. And when Dulal falls for the spirited Ruma, suddenly there's more at stake than just the script. Between Gonzo's wild antics, censor board nightmares, creative compromises, and the pull of romance, will they sell out or stand their ground?
