This song was written in by me in 1994 as material for the band (EasterDay) I was in at the time. We debuted this song live on stage in 1995 and in 1996-97 we got a record deal and the song was part of our debut CD "Story of Love" released in 1997.
It remained in our set list for the duration of the band's touring in Norway and Sweden.
Back then (and on the CD) it was called "Change", but since I released another song last year with the name "Change" I've taken another word from the lyrics, SHINE, and renamed it that in 2026.

We were very happy with how our CD sounded back in the day, but due to budgets, skills and whatnot I've always dreamed of re-recording some of the songs from our album. Not remakes, but new versions wrapped in other sounds and arrangements.
