Episode 01 Synopsis:
Rameen is in love with her fiancé Sameer, and he loves her just as deeply. Their future seems hopeful, while her neighbour Nauman quietly harbours feelings of his own. But one night, a simple phone call on the rooftop turns into a horrifying incident that changes everything.
After the assault, Rameen expects protection, instead, she is met with blame. To her shock, even her own father questions her character, forcing her into silence and shame as the real culprit remains unknown.
Drama Synopsis:
Barbaad Hui Rameen is the story of a woman whose life is torn apart not only by a brutal crime, but by the cruel reaction of society that follows. As Rameen struggles with trauma, she is forced to face victim blaming, suspicion, and emotional abandonment. Survival is only the beginning of her suffering.
This drama sheds light on a harsh reality rarely explored in Pakistani storytelling: the aftermath of assault, the judgment placed on survivors, and the silence that protects the guilty.
