Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado gave her Nobel Peace Prize medal to U.S. President Trump on Jan 15. Machado presented the medal during a high-stakes encounter that could affect how Trump seeks to shape Venezuela’s political future. A White House official confirmed that US President Donald Trump intends to keep the medal, Reuters reported. Trump took to truth social and confirmed the presentation saying it was a wonderful gesture of ‘mutual respect’.
