Today we’re taking a look at Max Payne 3, the final entry in the series, which is set many years after Max Payne 2. While it delivers a solid and emotional story, the real highlight is the gameplay. From its incredible locations and satisfying gunplay to the detailed ragdoll physics, fluid movement, stylish combat moves, and iconic slow-motion mechanics, Max Payne 3 still feels great to play.

The game is absolutely playable in its vanilla form even today. That said, I decided to modernize the experience a bit by adding higher-resolution textures, improved weapon sounds, enhanced blood effects, better ragdoll behavior, and more.
