PLANT ME IN DREAMS is a surreal psychological short film about a writer trapped in recurring nightmares, exhaustion, and nature’s strange messages.
As dreams blur into reality, he discovers that the vines haunting him were never curses — but a path to peace.

Synopsis

A weary writer, unable to find an ending for his violent story, falls into a spiral of exhaustion and overthinking. One night, after eating a watermelon down to its final seed, he dreams of a plant sprouting from his mouth — a dream that repeats and worsens each night. The growing vines twist through his body, his fear deepening alongside his isolation. His only escape is through tablets, sleep, and a haze of nightmares that blur imagination and reality. On the final day, he abandons the pills and steps outside. In the morning light, surrounded by the gentle breath of nature, he finally understands — the dreams were never curses, but messages. He and nature are one. Freed from his mind, he writes his story’s ending — peace through surrender to the wild.
