This problem usually appears when the game incorrectly limits video memory usage, causes graphics settings to reset, or shows a warning about insufficient resources despite having capable hardware. I’ll guide you through the steps to remove these limitations and allow GTA IV to use your system resources properly.





For the commandline.txt file within game directory ◀️
-nomemrestrict
-noswapdelay
-availablevidmem 5966
-noprecache
-fullscreen






Open up steam and go the game in your library
-Right-click on GTA IV and click on properties
-On the general tab you will see Launch Options
-Paste the command in the text field -availablevidmem (your vram amount) -norestrictions -nomemrestrict



Different Copy of GTA IV:
-availablevidmem (your vram amount) -norestrictions -nomemrestrict
