Wait… what? A Voodoo 2 on a Ryzen 9 PC using a PCIe-to-PCI enclosure? And there are 64-bit drivers for the 3dfx Voodoo 2?! That shouldn’t be possible, and even if they did exist, there’s no way they’d work on Windows 11, right? Well, back in 2006, developer Ryan Nunn (aka Colourless) pulled off the impossible: he wrote experimental 64-bit drivers for original 3dfx cards. Today, we’re putting those drivers to the test on modern hardware, including a Ryzen 9 CPU and Windows 11 23H2.
