Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed a joint sitting of the Houses of the Oireachtas during his first official first to Ireland.
He praised Ireland for its support to Ukraine and for giving refuge to Ukrainians fleeing the war.
Zelenskyy says Ukraine is “closer to peace than ever before”, but added that it must be a just peace backed by a broad community of nations.
He urges Ireland and others to maintain unity.
