The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has a new villain approaching, but there may be more foes from the Mario universe that are still being kept a secret. In the history of video game villains, Bowser may be the most recognizable. The Koopa King has a long rivalry with Mario, but typically fails to stop him from saving Princess Peach.

For The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Bowser was the obvious choice for the main villain. However, the film ends with Bowser now shrunken and stuck inside Peach's castle after Mario and Luigi thwarted his wedding with Peach. As the first trailer revealed, Bowser Jr. is seeking to free his father and restore respect to the Bowser name.
